Komal Vaishnav from Jalore Becomes First Indian to Win Miss Universe Grand Global Ambassador 2025 in Malaysia
Komal Vaishnav from Jalore, Rajasthan, has made history by becoming the first Indian to win the Miss Universe Grand Global Ambassador 2025 title held in Malaysia.

In a proud and historic moment for India, Komal Vaishnav, a young woman from Jalore district, Rajasthan, has won the coveted title of Miss Universe Grand Global Ambassador 2025. The prestigious international beauty pageant was held in Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia, from June 11 to 15, and saw participation from 23 contestants representing 15 countries.
Komal’s remarkable performance and confidence earned her the crown, making her the first Indian ever to achieve this global honor.
Originally from Guda Ram village in Bhadrajun tehsil, Komal currently lives in Mumbai, where she is pursuing her education and career goals. Her father, Amritlal Vaishnav, is a jeweler at Mumbai’s Mugadevi Jewelry Market. Her elder brother is also in the jewelry business, while her younger brother is still in school. Her mother is a homemaker.
Komal had been preparing intensely for the competition for over a month before leaving for Malaysia on June 10. After her victory, she returned to India on June 16, where she was welcomed with enthusiasm at Mumbai Airport. On June 21, she arrived in her hometown Jalore, where she was warmly received by her family, villagers, and local MLA Chhagan Singh.
Currently in her second year of college, Komal aspires to make a mark in the film industry. She is also enrolled in a professional acting course in Mumbai. Her first music video is expected to be released in July 2025.
Her achievement has sparked celebration across Jalore, and she has become a role model for young girls everywhere, inspiring many with her journey from a small village to an international stage.
